Gone of the days where I have to make my Youtube nerdery with a crappy, out of date, point and shoot camera. I've upgraded to something more modern, although still very affordable. The Kodak Zi8 blogger style camcorder is perfect for the casual Youtuber like myself. It can film in full HD 1080p, 720p 60fps for action video, 720p, standard def, and can also take photos as you can see (but not that well.) The main drawback is the lack of internal memory on board. You can virtually do nothing without picking up an SD card for the cam. I spent 30$ on an 8GB SDHD card specifically made for HD video. Add that to the 107$ I spent for the camera and I like to think I got great value for my money. New models of these blogger cameras have flip screens that allow you to see what you are filming if the lens is pointed toward you. This camera doesn't have this, it is a little limiting. No big deal though, it is light years ahead of what I was using before. Look forward to full hd videos on my Youtube channel soon, actually they are up now. Thanks for reading.
